1. Data Collection and Storage (Offline First) Casto Stock is designed as an offline-first application. All inventory data, stock levels, item details, and pricing information you enter are stored locally on your device using a local database (SQLite/Room Database). The Developer does not collect, transmit, sync, or store your inventory data on any external servers. You maintain full ownership and control over your data.

2. Third-Party Services and Advertising While the core app operates offline, the app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, primarily for serving advertisements.

Casto Stock uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect and use data (such as device identifiers, IP addresses, and general location data) to provide personalized advertising. By using this app, you agree to the collection and use of this data by Google as outlined in their privacy policy.

3. App Permissions To function optimally, the app requires the following permissions:

  • Camera and Photo Library (Storage): Requested solely for the purpose of allowing you to take or select photos to attach to your inventory items. These photos are saved directly to your device's local storage and are never uploaded to the Developer's servers.

  • Network/Internet Access: Required strictly for loading advertisements via Google AdMob and for verifying the app's installation source (Google Play Store licensing).

4. Data Deletion and Backup Since all application data is stored locally on your device, you can permanently delete your data at any time by:

  • Deleting individual items within the app.

  • Clearing the app's storage data through your device's settings.

  • Uninstalling the Casto Stock app.

The app provides a local backup and restore feature. These backup files (.db) are generated locally and managed entirely by you. It is your responsibility to secure these backup files.
